- No, Otakumart is not affiliated with the convention. Otakumart is an online marketplace for Artist Alley vendors to showcase and pre-sell their products after they have already been accepted to the conventions.
No. You should only opt into a convention on Otakumart once you have been accepted by the convention organizers.
- Otakumart does NOT take a commission from your sales. The only per-transaction fees incurred are standard processing fees paid to Stripe. Other than that, we charge a small one time purchase per convention you opt-in to.
- Absolutely! You have the ability to set your convention page to "view only". You can also set individual products to not available for online purchase. Otakumart is a great way showcase your catalogue and let your customers know where your booth is.
- Yes! We offer a full refund (minus credit card processing fees) per convention if the convention has not gone live yet and we did not process any customer purchases for that convention.
- It is the responsiblity of the vendor to make sure they are at the convention and the responsibility of the customer to make sure they can pick up the order from their booth during the convention.
- Yes! Otakumart supports multiple currencies and allows you to set the sales tax applicable to your situation per convention you are attending.
- Otakumart supports online payments and cash on pickup orders. You have the ability to set your preferred payment methods per convention.
